Kurt's Jan. 7, 2009 Vanguard shows on WBGO and available as a podcast too!
Kurt Rosenwinkel is scheduled to return to the Vanguard this week from January 6-11. For those of you that can't make it to the Vanguard itself, the Wednesday night concert(-s) will be broadcast live by WBGO, and will also be available as a podcast for download. The Remedy now available on iTunes, Rhapsody and eMusic
Kurt Rosenwinkel's most recent album "The Remedy - Live At The Village Vanguard" is now available through iTunes (all international iTunes stores as well). Click  to buy from iTunes.
The album is also available as a download through Rhapsody & eMusic. The 2 CD set is still exclusively sold through Artistshare & Amazon.com as well as at live concerts.

Kurt's new album "The Remedy" is finally here!
We are very pleased to announce that Kurt Rosenwinkel's new album entitled "The Remedy - Live At The Village Vanguard" is finally here! The album features 8 songs and over 120 minutes of music. There is 6 all-new songs by Kurt Rosenwinkel, 2 re-workings of previously released songs (one by Kurt and one by Mark Turner). The band features a stellar cast of Mark Turner (sax), Aaron Goldberg (pia), Joe Martin (b) & Eric Harland (dr).
Once you've become a participant, the Artistshare website also allows you to watch a 40 minute long interview (conducted at the Village Vanguard) with Kurt about "The Remedy". You can also listen to radio interviews and watch other footage.
If you click on the headline to be taken straight to the Artistshare website. The album is available either as a 2 cd 8 panal digipak, or you can download it as a 320bps set of files.

Kurt Rosenwinkel book out on Mel Bay Publications
Mel Bay Publications has just released a new book of Kurt Rosenwinkel solos & compositions. About half of the material (and all the solo transcriptions) are from "Deep Song" (Brooklyn Sometimes, Cake, The Cloister, The Cross, Gesture (Lester), Synthetics, Use Of Light) whereas the 2nd half are from "The Next Step" and "Enemies Of Energy".
